We are not learning to dance, we are dancing to learn
Miss Jacqui's Ballerinas use a range of exciting and engaging music to introduce the basics of ballet, jazz and tap techniques in a fun and stimulating environment. The classes are aimed to build children’s confidence and imagination through dance and movement. A variety of props and instruments are involved during the classes to keep the children engaged and stimulated as well as to develop the children’s understanding of their body in space and rhythms in music. Our classes have a relaxed feel and are carried out in a friendly environment whilst begin to develop skills such as listening, taking turns and participating in groups.
These classes are a beautiful introduction to the world of dance, especially created for the young, curious minds of preschool children

Studio Director and Teacher
"I initially started Miss Jacqui's Ballerinas as I identified how important it is to harness and grow the love and joy of music and movement at this age. I have always loved teaching and working with young children as they have no inhibitions. Children love to move and dance and I feel I learn from their creative minds and enthusiasm.
Such young minds are a precious thing and I feel privileged to be on this learning journey with them."
“I'm so excited to start teaching at Miss Jacqui Ballerinas and watch all of the little ballerinas blossom and grow.”
Miss Jacqui's ballet class has been such an amazing addition to our lives this past year. I watched our shy 20 month old become confident, independent and highly social thanks to these classes. Miss Jacqui is a wonderful storyteller, taking the girls on magical journeys through dance, music and role-play each class. She looks out for and includes every child (including tiny siblings) and will have your child talking about ballet all week long!

"Our daughter just LOVES ballet with Miss Jacqui (and Miss Catherine). She looks forward to class for the entire week and is always a little disappointed when it’s over. She’s learning to listen to instructions (sort of) and really enjoys the imaginary adventures we go on every week. It’s a great way to burn off energy and learn music skills too.
Highly recommend for all boys and girls!"
