Dance with me

Age: 18 months - 3 years

 

During this class you and your little dancer will explore movement and music together in creative and engaging activities. By dancing together, you can watch your child express themselves and develop their skills, and they get to watch their grown up let loose and have fun! Your little dancer will love the opportunity to dance with someone they love and it is a very special opportunity to participate and share this lovely experience together.

Each class in taught around a theme which changes fortnightly and encourages creativity, confidence, coordination and socialisation skills. You can check our Facebook page for updates on class themes throughout the term. Beautiful props, music and instruments are all used to create a stimulating and fun setting for you and your dancer to enjoy.

Dance with me classes provide a safe and secure learning environment for your little dancer and, the most important aim is to have fun! If you are concerned that your child is becoming distracted during class, rest assured that this is completely normal as they absorb the music and movement, and the more enthusiastic you are about your dancing, the more your little one will be too!

Duration and cost:

Each class is 30 minutes and is $22 per class

What to wear:

We have no set uniform for our preschool classes but do ask that whatever your child wears (you will often see Elsa, Wonder Woman and Batman in our classes) that it is safe for them to move in. Bare feet or ballet shoes are suggested.

Parents or caregivers will also be dancing with their little ones so it is important for you to wear something you feel comfortable in also and shoes that will not damage the floor (no heels please!)
